Milesha Segun
Principal Attorney
Milesha Nnebuogo Segun is the founder and principal attorney of Rise Legal PLLC. A proud magna cum laude graduate of the illustrious Howard University and Juris Doctor graduate of Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law, she brings a powerful combination of community compassion, government litigation, legislative experience, and personal injury expertise to every case.
Before founding Rise Legal, Milesha served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Kansas and an Assistant District Attorney in Wyandotte County, prosecuting complex cases and honing the trial skills she now uses to fight for injured clients.
Licensed in Texas, Kansas, and New Jersey, Milesha handles cases from initial intake through trial. She has recovered millions for her clients, including a recent $675,000 judgment in 2026.

Kafayat Tayo Oni is a legal assistant with experience in contract administration, compliance, contract and case management. She currently works with Rise Legal, where she holds the position of legal assistant. She is passionate about continuous learning, professional growth, and leveraging her legal assistant and analytical skills to provide practical solutions. Outside of work, she is interested in personal development and building a well-rounded career.
